About recycled material and the production process: This bag was made with 50 percent post-consumer recycled waste from plastic bottles, old toys and scraps. The waste is melted and spun into a thread in a process similar to making cotton candy, then woven with virgin material. The recycled material is brittle so it is mixed with virgin material to result in a more flexible product. Unfortunately, we couldn't source this bag in the United States (not yet).
