Brief biography: Represents the
Agribusiness Association of Iowa on the Advisory Board, A
certified professional agronomist, he is general manager of the
Heart of Iowa Co-op that has locations in eight central Iowa
communities. He has been a member of the Leopold Center Advisory
Board since 1996 as the Iowa Agribusiness Association's
co-representative with Craig Struve of Calumet. He was elected chair
in 2002 to succeed Dave Williams.
He was born and raised on a small farm in Mitchell County near
Stacyville. He has holds a bachelor's degree from Iowa State
University in farm operations (1968) and a master's degree in
agronomy (1979). In 1997, he was present of the Agribusiness
Association of Iowa and is a board member for the Iowa Institute of
Cooperatives. |
