Project ID: 1996-38
AbstractHay is a major crop for northeast Iowa cattle producers. The difficulty and cost of growing and harvesting quality hay and the continued pressure to reduce costs has stimulated producer interest in management intensive grazing systems. This project offered Iowa farmers extensive, hands-on information and experience with intensive grazing techniques.
