Abstract

A southern Iowa community college developed a multi-faceted agriculture education program to help revitalize the area's rural agricultural economy.

Key Question: Can Indian Hills Community College develop a program that will increase awareness of sustainable agriculture among both current and future farmers?

Findings: Indian Hills Community College personnel feel strongly that they have developed educational programming for all farmers and have reached the agriculture community through curriculum development and classes, seminars, and partnerships formed throughout the grant project.
