AMES, Iowa -- In partnership with the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, the Northeast Iowa Resource Conservation & Development will host a website-building workshop for local food producers and farmer networks.

Those who attend can expect one-on-one, hands-on training about how to develop a simple, free and easy-to-maintain website. Having a presence on the World Wide Web can help farmer networks reach new groups of consumers. Participants can expect to leave the workshop with a workable website and will receive follow-up technical support. This opportunity is offered as part of a competitive grant project in the Leopold Center’s Marketing and Food Systems Initiative.
