Iowa Hunger Summit

This is the fifth annual Iowa Hunger Summit, organized by the World Food Prize Foundation and sponsored by FBL FInancial Group, Inc. and the Iowa Farm Bureau.

The event brings together community, business, civic and religious leaders from across Iowa who are involved in the fight against hunger. A number of gorups will present seminars, workshops and training including the Iowa Food Access and Health Working Group (supported by the Leopold Center), Heartland Global Health Consortium, Iowa State University and ISU Extension, Hormel Foods, Global Food Banking Network, Blessman Ministries and the ONE Campaign.

At noon, the Hunger Luncheon will feature a keynote address by Tom Arnold, CEO of Concern Worldwide and meals used by Iowa-based organizations in hunger-relief efforts.
