This one-day workshop will provide opportunities to learn about local food growing, processing, selling, buying, marketing, packaging, delivering, and (of course) eating. Students in the Indian Hills Culinary Arts Program will prepare a local foods lunch under the direction of Chef Gordon Rader.

The day's events are hosted by Hometown Harvest of SE Iowa and ISU Extension's Value Added Agriculture Program partnering with Indian Hills Community College and the Leopold Center.
