Many of the research projects funded by the Leopold Center’s long-running competitive grants program  are conducted on ISU Research and Demonstration Farms throughout Iowa. Updates of these research projects may be presented at field day events.

Livestock Farm Visitor Policies:

  • There is a five-day waiting period prior to visiting Iowa State livestock farms if you have traveled outside the United States.
  • If you have visited another livestock farm, you are asked to change clothing and footwear.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring food to research farms.

Directions: The farm is located south four miles on Highway 65 from the intersection of highways 65 and 34, then two and a half miles east on a gravel road and north a quarter mile. The headquarters is on the east side of the road.
