Seed Savers Exchange - Harvest Lecture Series and Harvest Festival The Harvest Lecture Series, organized by Seed Savers Exchange, features speakers and discussion about food and seed heritage. It takes place in the barn loft at the historic Heritage Farm near Decorah, Iowa. The speakers are Dan Carmody, "Developing Regional Food Systems," and Emily Torgrimson, "Eat for Equity: using community meals to support charitable organizations."
The lecture begins at 7pm and costs $10. Refreshments will be served by Oneota Food Coop.
This event is also part of the Harvest Festival, which features family activities, apple tasting, speakers, music and more.
