An advanced high tunnel tomato production track is one of the educational components of the Iowa Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association’s annual conference Jan. 24-25 in Ankeny. Instructors for the Thursday, Jan. 24 day-long high tunnel track are horticulturists with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach – Linda Naeve, Joe Hannan and Ajay Nair.

They will cover multiple aspects of tomato production including nutrient management, foliar sampling, grafting, budgets, and environmental control for producers who currently have a high tunnel. Space is limited for this track and available on a first come, first served basis.

There are more than 20 exhibitors in the trade show and opportunities to visit with other growers and speakers.
