Big Picture Planning for Small Farms workshop

Dubuque County ISU Extension is hosting Andy Larson, ISU Small Farms Specialist and North Central SARE coordinator, and a panel of experienced local farmers, for a “Big Picture Planning for Small Farms” workshop on Tuesday, February 5th from 5:30pm-8:30pm. This workshop is intended for beginning and aspiring small-scale farmers pursuing local food production and other alternative enterprises who want an introduction to strategic planning. 

Topics will include visioning, strategic planning, values analysis and smart goals.  We will also have a panel of regional farmers and a local buyer to discuss their successes and challenges.  The cost is $20 for the 3-hour workshop.
