PFI Field Day: On-Farm Poultry Processing for Home Use

Long-time grazier Kim Alexander will demonstrate proper techniques for safe, humane and quality on-farm poultry processing for home use. He also will lead a tour of his farm and discuss beginning fruit orchard layout and production; management-intensive grazing and watering systems; and custom grazing.

Directions to the farm: From Smithland, go 2 miles west on state Route 141. Turn south on Jewell Avenue and go 1 mile to the second farm on the right. “Alexander Farm” will be printed on the mailbox.
