America is losing up to 40 percent of its food to waste according to the Natural Resources Defense Council. This amount of wasted food causes environmental, social and economic issues that can be alleviated.
Join us along with Green Dubuque, City of Dubuque, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency and Representative Charles Isenhartat at January's workshop as we investigate methods for wasted food reduction from farm, home, institution, business and legislative perspectives.
Registration is $10 and includes a hot buffet, zero waste lunch.
