Speaker will be Elena Bennet, McGill University, How do ecosystem services interact and how can we manage landscapes to provide multiple services?

Bennett studies human‐environment interactions to improve ecosystem management. She is an associate professor at McGill University and has worked on the UN’s Millennium Ecosystem Assessment. She was the winner of the Carrie M. Derick award for Excellence in Graduate Supervision (2012) and a Trottier Public Policy Fellowship (2013). She is a  Leopold Leadership Fellow (2011) and is a member of the Global Young Academy.

The symposium also will have posters from students who will receive degrees this year from the ISU Graduate Program in Sustainable Agriculture.
