Tour a mature, functioning orchard ecosystem. Learn how to predict the potential profitability of your own operation with methods to estimate yields and revenue over time.

This event is part of a series of workshops, Success with HIgh-Value Orchard Crops, hosted by Backyard Abundance, an Iowa City-based environmental education nonprofit, and Red Fern Farm. It is supported by a specialty crop grant from the Iowa Department of Land Stewardship. The series is designed by rural landowners, farmers and urban residents who are interested in agroforestry for its ecological and economic potential. Those who attend all classes will receive a certificate of Edible Agroforestry.
