NEW FUNDS FOR COVER CROPS
The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship is allowing farmers to sign up for cost-share dollars to plant fall-seeded cover crops this year. The emergency rule change includes cover crops as an eligible practice under the Iowa Financial Incentives Program (IFIP), commonly called cost share.
See the announcements box on our calendar page for more details.
