Building Soil Health for Healthy Environment and Farm Profitability

Building on the success of the inaugural Soil Health Conference in 2016, the second Soil Health Conference will be held in the Scheman Building at Iowa State University in Ames, on Feb. 16-17, 2017. This conference is organized by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and the ISU Department of Agronomy.

Soil health is the foundation for a vibrant and stronger agriculture system and economy. Healthy soils are essential to healthy environments, including clean air and clean water for sustainable agriculture and livelihoods.

The conference will offer esearch-based information, speakers from land grant universities and the USDA, a wide range of topics, posters on research and education, as well as CCA credits.
